Attach the extender to the stand itself and set up the flash i60A using the included “Free Tilter Mini”. Attach the commander Air10s to the camera and begin by simply lighting the camera with a direct flash shot.

You can take pictures with a bright and clear impression with the light of the flash. The hard light of direct flash light is a clear depiction, and is like sunlight on a sunny day. You can get a natural impression by flash light at an angle from above. By using the Free Tilter Mini, you can fix the light at any angle.

Next, let’s attach the “Mini Softbox MS-01” to the flash.

Adjusted the position of the light lower than before according to the angle of the subject’s face. Since the picture is taken with the upper body up, try using the softbox a little closer to the subject.

By using the softbox, the light became softer, and the expression became fluffy, smooth and gentle.

In comparison, the direct light gives an energetic and bright impression, while the softbox gives a moist and calm impression. The angle of the face and the angle of the light are almost the same, but the facial expressions look different just by changing the lighting. The interesting thing about lighting is that you can change the impression of a photo by using it properly according to the mood, clothes, and image of the subject.

Now let’s add another flash here. Try to shine a direct light from a position diagonally behind the subject.

Accented light enters the shadowed area, creating a three-dimensional effect. A bright impression is added by the glittering hair.

Full-body shoots with a mini softbox too.

Up to this point, the close-up shooting has continued, but of course the mini softbox can also be used for whole body lighting.

The vertical mini softbox is used as the main light, and the direct light is used as two accent lights from diagonally behind both sides. I was able to take a picture with a cool atmosphere, with the soft shadows and the sparkling accent light.

All stands use Super Light Stand Mini. It is convenient because you can finely adjust the height according to the height of the subject.

You can also use it like this! Think of a softbox as a window

A photo with a soft atmosphere that looks like it was taken close to a window full of light. It wasn’t the natural light from the window … but this one was also taken with a mini softbox.

The doll sits down forehead attached to the mini softbox. The closer to the light, the larger the area of the light source, and the light wraps around from various directions, resulting in a softer expression. The other side of the main light becomes a shadow and falls dark, so I applied accent light from behind to depict the hair.

In a good way, it’s a natural and gentle photo that doesn’t have much “flash-likeness”.

Can be used outside too! Handheld lighting with handle

The Super Light Stand Mini has a “handle” part with a grip. Attaching the flash to the handle allows you to easily light the flash on your hand when you are outdoors or in other situations where it is difficult to stand the stand up.

Take a picture with the camera in your right hand and the flash with the handle in your left hand. Adjust the angle and position of the light while checking the shooting result. Both the handle and the mini softbox are small and lightweight, so you can shoot while holding it with one hand. (Even a girl like me could do it.)

Another accent light is shined directly from the top of the stairs toward the subject. The Super Light Stand Mini has short legs, so it can stand in narrow spaces such as in the middle of stairs.

I was able to take cool photos with the inorganic look of the iron fence. The strength of the Super Light Stand Mini is that it can be used with plenty of room even in narrow spaces where it is difficult to stand an ordinary stand. I was able to shoot with beautiful lighting in a short time without stress.
